  very welcome stop after a long journey. great welcome from Donald and great evening meal in the restaurant. great scottish breakfast. room had been upgraded as we visited out of season as they were very quiet. included wifi for free and a sofa to sit on to watch tv as there is little else to do in Dunnet after dark. only criticism was the bathroom was cold. Advised us on our onward route and have to say their advice was spot on - we saw so much more going their way etc. recommend as a good place to stay if you're on the tourist trail - john o groats, tongue etc.
