  We stayed one wet night in June. The camp site is tucked away behind the Halladale Inn where you book in, with the entrance to the site about 30m from the Inn along the main road. It's currently advertised as open all year round, however on the day we arrived new owners had taken over so that might change. The pitches are pebble surface, and there's between 8 and 10 spaces with ample hook ups. The facilities are a bit dated, but were clean, functional and good hot showers. Entry is by coded key pad. There's separate male and female rooms plus a washing up room too. Despite the Inn and road nearby it was very peaceful, with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. Work has started by the new owners on a major upgrade and expansion of the site, so things may have changed by the time you go there. The Halladale Inn is convenient for drinks, meals and entertainment,, and opens at 11am. Price for the night was £20.
